Wendy Bidne is a 1988 Albert Lea High School graduate. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Riverland Community College and her B.A. from Buena Vista University in Elementary Ed., K-6 SLD, K-6 EBD, K-6 DCD, and a concentration in Sociology. She has an extended licensure in 7-12 SLD and 7-12 EBD. She obtained a Master's degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato, in July 2012. Previously, she was a paraprofessional in Emmons and Albert Lea and and elementary special education teacher (SLD). Currently, Wendy is a secondary special education teacher at the Area Learning Center. Wendy and her husband have three children. She enjoys learning new ways to use technology in the classroom and encourages her students to be creative with what they are learning.
