I love the many aspects of my job, but my biggest professional passion is international travel. In the past three years, I have travelled to the West Bank/Israel, China, and South Africa. Each experience has given me a unique first-hand perspective into the culture, history, economy, and education of each country. I thoroughly enjoy trying to bring back to my classes an understanding that what happens in other parts of the world affects their lives in Albert Lea and that there are many similarities between us.  When I do travel, I greatly miss my three daughters...but they like it when I bring back presents.
